It was so crazy we were watching a youtube video about the chicken song then we heard a similar sound coming from out coop as it ended. We all kind of looked at each other and said "No Way"

Bailing out the door, sure enough one of ours was up in the nesting box doing her thing. Poor girl she worked pretty hard. She was so tired!

But we are all excited and celebrating. Treats all around to the chickens!

Here are a few quickies for ya'll

These are both none other than Mo's digital pencil images. I've been scrolling blogs for new templates... I think I need too work a bit harder on organizing!

WOW that was hard work!

We just brought home another cockatiel to keep our first one Tikki company. She has been aggressive and unhappy so we thought this would be the perfect solution!

The new one is named Crash! He is sooo sweat!

Though he was posturing like a she today trying to get Tiki's attention. Hmmmm. It's always so hard to tell boy's from girls. Guess we'll see?

Any who after deciding the cage was much to small for both of them and a bigger one was WAY out of budget. The twins and I took a drive to Lowes and picked up some supplies. $47.00, lot's of cuts and scraped and five hours of working in the sun check out out accomplishment! 

I was short staples so I wasn't able to get the rest of the Trim on, It's easy to tell where it's missing!

We are quite proud of it. It slid right into the corner like butter!  

Fall Feast

I have never seen this set before when browsing through ebay so of course I had to have it.

It is just tooo cute! I've heat embossed the image then colored it in using copics. I Love it! It's heading to my etsy shop now.

Copic storage

 

Hello all!

I thought I would share a quick idea I've found on storing copics and pens. I keep most of my copics in the set boxes they come in, but I do tend to pick up a few strays that don't have a home.

I found one of these caddies in the tool section at fred meyers. It was in the same area that all the peg board supplies are kept. I just leave the drawer sections open and it works perfect! YOu can see the last drawer is closed. It's the one with the pink piece of paper taped to it. Lol I have to keep my shipping box sizes handy when I'm shipping cards. :) Plain view always makes it helpful!

Hope someone finds this as helpful as I do.

Then of course I have my curtain rods strung through out the craft room to hold my punches. I usually secures a small 1 inch by 1/4 inch thick board behind it so that I can store the smaller punches as well with out them falling out the backside...

Oh man oh man oh man! I am totally craving blueberries! We had some of the best out east while visiting with family. Just melt in your mouth!

I wonder if they have indoor tree/bushes that will sprout them... Hmm have to look up what in the world a blueberries grows on! Tee Hee.

Here is one of Mo's newest digi's that is going to kill me. I have not stopped thinking about the berries since I've started it.It's almost bad enough to wake the kids for the store. Lol. Guess where I will be going in the AM!

Fire in the gap

It's that time of year again here in southeastern Idaho when lightning strikes are the cause for a lot of worry. Though we have fires every year I can't help but get worried when they are close to home. We had a strike just a few days ago hit a house just down the street. The fire department is was awesome and responded fast before it could get out of control.

This pic was taken of of our front deck, you can see the sky is all shades of red and the smoke pilfering through.  

Painting it up!

 I dug out the inks tonight. Lol Not sure if that was the smart thing to do... I just took a set of gel nails of and was planning on redoing them and I stained up my fingers. Oops.

Oh well I love how this card turned out. The pic's make it look like the dark color is dark brown. It's actually black. But I like the look of the brown now so I guess I'll be doin one like that too :)

The background flourish and the butterfly are both from stampin up as well as all the inks as well. OK I lied the black ink is  Versa fine... Lol.

Well of to bed for the night.
