Fire in the gap

It's that time of year again here in southeastern Idaho when lightning strikes are the cause for a lot of worry. Though we have fires every year I can't help but get worried when they are close to home. We had a strike just a few days ago hit a house just down the street. The fire department is was awesome and responded fast before it could get out of control.

This pic was taken of of our front deck, you can see the sky is all shades of red and the smoke pilfering through.
