The coop has been expanded!

 

I felt bad for the Chickie's, lol. The play yard seemed too small. So I drug the kids out to add on to the run. Is it just me or is this coop getting uglier?

Lol Then after I had just finished with the roof fencing I thought well how cool would it be to have a tree growing out of the run? So while the twins were at volley ball I tore of the roof again. When the girls got home I told them how we were going to put a tree in. They grudgingly started to dig. Geeze we have a lot of rocks in the ground! I was sweating up a storm just watching them dig! Hee Hee!

They dug a whole big enough to put a smaller tree in.

Then we all went to the green house and Tim decided he liked a much bigger tree.So he bought it with his Birthday money. We brought it home and he finished digging a hole that was about three feet wide and three feet deep. Poor guy. The tree is nice though!!

Good to be back!

Wow what an adventure we all had! I still have to get pictures together to share with you all! But wow! We did a lot!

After I get together a time line a nd pic's I'll share :)

But for now I owe Mo a card. I'm thrilled to see the blog hop went off with out a hitch. I didn't have access to internet so I missed the whole thing!

But for now here is a new Digi of Mo's..

As soon as I seen the bare butt I just had to have it! How cute!!!! I think this digi offers so much more to do. I'm going to redo this one and do a very dimensional pop up card. The simplicity of the image will make it so pretty! Can't wait!

Well I'm off for now. Still unpacking and getting everyone settle back in. As soon as we got home it was off for volleyball camp for the Twins. We just haven't stopped!

Blog Hopping Time Whoop Whoop!

Are you all ready to Hop? Well, get those jumpin shoes on baby and lets go! Besides if your not hoppin' with us, were are you going?

The theme this time around is Glitter! LAAAAAAAA. I am covered from head to toe in silverish glitter hee hee!

One might say I'm looking a bit diva-ish myself. NOT!

Not in these baggy sweat pants!

For this card I took a ruler and marked random lines on the background page. Then using a glue pen filled in random squares with glitter. It started out as a pattern put in my glee I quickly lost track and the whole thing went one way or the other. I love it!

The sentiment Divalicious is typed then printed.

She is of course colored in copic markers, my favorite medium! If you leave a comment here one lucky person will get a few copics when I get back from my trip!

I will post a winner on the 21rst :)

Can't wait to see who the lucky winner is!

I'm leavin on a jet plane

Don't know when I'll be back again.. Hmm why does that song get stuck in my head every year I fly out.. Hee Hee

We are heading to Amish country to meet up with the twins and their grandparents. They have been on a very busy road trip exploring the history and monuments of the east coast. I sure wish I could have done something like that as a kid!!

Hee Hee. But not to leave you high and dry. Here is a card for my farewell.

This little Puppy is hungry!!! Man if I had a chocolate ice cream like that mmmmmmm. That is one smart puppy!

The dragon fly is a stampin up stamp, I used a glue pen to glitter him up. I forgot how much fun glitter can be!

(TIP, don't play with glitter shortly after a manicure.. umm it's not coming off)

Little mermaid!

This is a bit of a zindorf style. I stamped the grass fromstampin up in certainly celery and melon mango then heat embossed them. I then layed in with the sponge's using

Tempting turquoise, certainly celery, and soft sky for the water, then river rock and crushed curry for the sandy parts.

After sponging I wasn't thrilled with the softness of the colors so I figured what the heck and put the ink pad directly to the paper to had some more color. Then took a paper towel and gave the whole thing a good smearing.:)

I like how it came out. Not to mention it's been a long time since I broke out the ink! My fingers have been so clean! Whats up!

For the tail it was a bit of experimentation.. That a word? Lol

I started by coloring it in multiple shades of copic. Then painted over it with shimmer paint. I thought for shine I would dump embossing powder on top of that for more shine. It didn't work as well as I would of liked so I broke out the versa marker and re-coated it again and reimbossed it. Then took a fine black liner pen and detailed her fins in. A lot of work! 

But I like it!

This is Mo's newest image that I just discovered last night! Whoop Whoop! How cute is this!

This card features lot's of popped up layers. And a glazed window for effect. It took me a really long time to figure out how to piece this out. Grr. I like my square 6 x 6 cards but this taller image was a bit of a challenge. I really need to brush up on some layouts!

 

One of those days..

I have been away from my craft room getting ready for a trip out east. And let me tell you this card makes it obvious! Wow! This was an epic failure... Guess I had better start another one to make it up...

I've managed to figure out how to take shapes and put them into inkscape turning them into SVG files then cutting them on my cricut. So of course for some reason I just cant figure a layout using some of these shapes.. Hee Hee back to the drawing board! 

And you can tell at the bottom that I ran out of thread with my sewing machine. Lol not a very good reline up!
