This Robbin is attacking my craft room window! What the heck! He has been at it for hours!
And he is making a mess! I don't even want to know what he/She is smearing on the windows I cleaned a few days ago. Grrr.
It was funny at first but getting a little annoying now. I've been out to chase it off a few times and it just comes back. There's nothing like enjoying the peace of the craft room in the morning and having the window banged on hundreds of times.
Any clue what wrong with this bird?
New note: upon closer examination I think he is putting blood on the window! It's light brown with red tinges. Um what the heck???
Try to attach an aluminium plate to a cord and hang it outside the window... the wing will make it move and might scare the robin enough. Good luck!

Oh, I'm so sorry for you. I had this same problem a couple of years ago. The problem is he/she sees it's reflection in your window. It must have a nest near by. You can try to put up a hawk silhouette on the outside of the window (I got one of the internet that I printed out) or put a piece of paper, streamer, anything to break up the reflection. When I got them to leave one window alone, they would move onto the next one. Our robin problem stayed around for a couple of weeks before they finally mellowed out and stopped hitting the window. (Or maybe knocked some sense in its head) Good luck.
