Hello all!
Hope everyone is doing well! We are all getting along fine out here in Idaho! I have been working hard every night to make cards and really bring my card artistry to a new level. I have been applying to work at some stamp companies as a designer so we will see how that pans out. Keep your fingers crossed how exciting will that be!!
I am in the process of finishing up the wedding invites, only 40 more to cut! I won't have any finished pics as my sister wants me to just cut the outsides and print the invitations. Cut all the ribbons.. you know all the work lol! Then I will take them to her in Utah and she will put them all together with the pictures and mail them. Gee I sure hope I get one :)
Here are some card up dates. I had a great speech last night to go with all of these cards but my laptop froze up on the final edit. Grrrrrrrr. lets keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't happen tonight! Dh has put in a new computer up stairs and we are slowly working out all the bugs in our network.
So to that avail here we go!
This first card is done using a cute new stamp set from stampin up! I borrowed it from my supplier lol! because as my type pad title says addicted to rubber, lol this addiction needs a supplier! Ha
This card has been colored in using copic markers. The edges have been ink'd also some machine sewing. This set is just so darling! I can't wait to own it myself!!
This fun card is another Card using one of my favorite stamps from Penny Black! They are always so cute and light hearted. This card features torn layers, popped up layers as well as popped images. The hedgies have been carefully cut out and popped of the page for a fun 3-d affect. I have colored these in using copics as well and stickles to really help it sparkle! And don't you just love the Polka dot ribbon!
This card is a fun mix. It is the first time I have really combined stamps from different stamp companies. The flowers at the bottom ar stampin up, while the mouse is Penny black. The circles in the back ground have been cut out using the Martha Stewart circle cutter then run through the cuttle bug to add the raised dots. The edges have been inked as well. Around the edges of this card I have hand sewn using gold thread. The images have been colored in using copic markers!
Here is another one using copics and stampin up! The scalloped layers have been cut out using the cricut design studio. I took basic circles from George and welded them. Saves me not having to go out and buy the punches! Also machine sewing and cuttlebug embossing really ties this card together!
This card is using stamps from Gina K! Arent they so cute!! They have been carefully cut and put on top of an embossed layer. This card features machine sewing and metal embelishments. I kept this one more simple.
And this card last but not least is another Fun Penny black card. This bunny has been cut out and popped of the page. Also featuring machine sewing and metal embellishments. This card is cute but elegant! Of course as always the image has been colored in using copic markers.. Hmm not sure if I told you all I love my copics!
you made the honey bee stamp look irresistable! (lol @ the supplier line) Penny black makes some really cute rubba! all the cards Are super! i have 2 wipe the drool off my chin from time to time !
