Feeling creative!!

Well I'm not sure how I like it yet.. Maybe just a bit more practice lol!

I read in a card magazine this week about painting cards with smooches and top boss.

Lol I don't have top boss nor very many smooches, so I improvised. I Pulled out a paint tray and dripped a few drips of versamark refill and and a few drops of colorbox refill inks.

I painted first with the versamark giving a slick surface, then began running gold and blues through the wings. They spread perfectly and the versammark gave me time to blend where needed.

I definitely need to work on the technique a bit but the end result seems to be promising. This opens up a bunch of possibilities in creativity. My next try with this will be a stained glass image. I think with he shimmer it will really pop!
